We believe Mike will do a great job recruiting and running the user’s group for this year’s fall conference in Chicago. For those of you not familiar with Mike, here is a short biography of his body of work to date. For the past 17 years Mike has been employed by the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA). Fifteen years ago thru economic development the DRBA began management of 5 airports, 3 in Delaware and 2 in Southern New Jersey, at which time he transferred to the Airports Division as an electrician. He was assigned the position of Electrical supervisor, until two years ago when he took the position of maintenance supervisor of the division. He is now responsible for the entire maintenance staff and operations of the Airports Division. Prior to employment with the DRBA, Mike taught Industrial Arts at the high school level. He holds a master electricians license in the State of Delaware and attended the University Of Delaware with a major in education. Mike has been attending the IES conferences for about 12 years now. On a personal note, Mike has been a volunteer Firefighter in Delaware for over 30 years and held Chief’s positions for at least 15 of those years. Mike has been married to his wife Diane for 26 years and has two children, Corinne 23 and David 20, both students at University of Delaware. Please take time, as I will in Chicago, to wish Mike all the best in his new role with our organization. User Group News, Happy Retirement Frenchie: A Salute to Frenchie ( click here)Who are We?
