The IESALC User Group

Our Mission

To promote communications between airports and airport electrical maintenance personnel engaged in the design, installation and repair of airfield lighting systems (i.e. aeronautical ground lighting) by providing a forum for training and the exchange of information and ideas.

Message from the Chairman: 

Welcome to the IESALC User Group web page. I am excited about the possibilities we as a committee have ahead of us. This committee was created for the users in aviation lighting to share ideas, solutions to problems, to discuss design and construction issues that have or will affect the users. This community will only work if we use it. There are a few of you out there that I personally have called over the years for assistance and advice. I have used this committee as a means of education.

John Bogart chairman of the 2007 conference has planned 5 user group papers and a user group forum (roundtable discussions) for this year’s conference. As some of you will remember there was a time that users did not get this much notice at a conference. As changes in the industry occur they effect each of us, some more than others but collectively we are all in this together. I encourage you all to attend the fall conference 10/28 thru 11/1 and bring your ideas and thoughts to the forum. If you have suggestions for topics that need to be discussed or if you are willing and able to give a paper at a future conference let us know.
Again welcome to our committee, I look forward to sharing with the user community.
