MISSION
The Government Contacts Subcommittee serves as a forum for representatives of the aviation lighting industry to meet with the representatives of various government agencies to discuss the latest programs and policies affecting the industry.
VISION
The goal for the Government Contacts Subcommittee is to foster positive and productive communications between government and industry relating to aviation lighting.
EVENTS
The Subcommittee meets twice a year.
- The Spring Meeting is held in the Washington, DC.
- The Fall Meeting is held in conjunction with the IESALC Annual Technology Meeting.
SPRING MEETING (APRIL)
The Government Contacts Subcommittee will hold a hybrid (in-person and virtual) meeting (April TBD) at (Location TBD, Washington, DC). Typical Government Contact Subcommittee participants / presenters are:
- FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace
- FAA AAS-100 Airports Engineering Division
- FAA Volpe Center
- Intertek
- Elite Electronic Engineering, Inc
- Other FAA and Government Industry Liaisons
All IESALC Members are encouraged to engage and participate in Q&A after presentations.
FALL MEETING (OCTOBER)
The Government Contacts Subcommittee will present in-person or virtual at the Fall Technology meeting. Typical Government Contact Subcommittee participants / presenters are:
