MISSION
(Not Final – Provisional) The mission of the Government Regulations Subcommittee (a.k.a. Subcommittee on Government Regulations SGR) is to support the public/private sector and governmental entities (e.g. FAA, State and Local Aviation Associations, etc) in the efforts of updating advisory circulars, engineering briefs, orders, and other standards or guidelines impacting airfield electrical and lighting products, design practices, safety, and operations.
VISION
(Not Final – Provisional) Through the efforts of the Government Regulations Subcommittee, we envision a cohesive collaborative partnership between the public/private sector and governmental entities pushing for standardization and modernization of airfield electrical and lighting systems to ensure consistent, safe, reliable, resilient, and cost effective solutions for Part 139 commercial service airports and general aviation airports.
