1. IES General Aviation Award: awarded to a GA Airport for an innovative lighting project
2. IES Air Carrier Award: awarded to an Air Carrier sized airport for an innovative lighting project
3. Best Paper Award: awarded to the presenter of the best paper given at the IES/ALC Annual Conference
4. Honorable Mention Award: awarded to the presenter of the (2nd place) paper given at the IES/ALC annual Conference
5. Distinguished Service Award/Lifetime Achievement Award: given at the direction of the Executive Committee as a special award
